We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef!

You’ll bring your vibrant personality and brilliant skills to our flagship Rotunda Restaurant featuring on-site butchery and bakery, and a live fire over embers and coal kitchen.

Rotunda is part of something bigger in Kings Place, the ideal candidate will be excited to offer guidance and support to the events kitchen, too!

What you’ll do
  • Train and develop a team of chefs on quality produce and real cooking, upholding standards of freshness, seasonality and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain new menus focussing on provenance and integrity.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the main restaurant kitchen, coordinating with the wider daily catering plan in the building.
  • Deputize for the Head Chef ensuring H&S and FS compliance.
  • Manage stock taking and ordering through a strong relationship with our farm and producers.

You’ll (ideally!) bring 2+ years experience in a similar role, in a kitchen that uses the freshest of locally sourced products.
