As part of this collaborative team, you’ll take on a key role in managing site-level operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards.

SCOPE OF ROLE

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily site operations across assigned activities and workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and without incident. You’ll be responsible for managing resources effectively - from materials and transport to labour and equipment - while upholding our commitment to safety, compliance, and quality.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a background in utilities or civils who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED
  • Ensure plant, equipment, and materials are available to support safe, efficient site delivery
  • Manage timely delivery and coordination of materials and equipment
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work sites in line with client and regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance with Local Authority permits and relevant regulations
  • Accurately document and report site activity, including incidents and delays
  • Lead site safety initiatives - including briefings, Toolbox Talks, and site-specific risk assessments
  • Ensure RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are briefed, understood, and followed
  • Support team leaders and operatives with technical and operational guidance
  • Coordinate with other contractors and stakeholders on-site to maintain smooth operations
  • Accurately submit timesheets, transport, and plant returns
  • Identify opportunities for innovation or improvements in processes and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and on-site personnel
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to motivate and direct teams in a fast-paced, site-based environment
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in utilities (power, water, fibre, telecoms, etc.) or construction infrastructure
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Proactive approach to site safety, emergency procedures, and permit compliance
  • Communication: Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with clients, engineers, and operatives
  • Organisation & Time Management: Skilled at managing multiple tasks and priorities on live construction/utility sites
  • Problem-Solving: Able to respond quickly to on-site challenges and keep projects moving forward
REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience in a site-based supervisory role within the utilities or civil engineering sectors
  • Confident engaging with customers and stakeholders on-site
  • Understanding of site drawings, utility plans, and construction documentation
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
  • Previous work in fibre, telecoms, or power network operations
  • Supervisors’ Accreditation or equivalent in a relevant utilities discipline
  • Awareness of site-based electrical or civils works
