Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical engineering at level 3 or above with strong electrical skills.
  • Experience of maintaining and working with boilers.
  • Experience of working with steam systems.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain site services to meet requirements.
  • Carry out scheduled checks and servicing to maintain site systems.
  • Record all works on the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and certification.

Skills

The Opportunity

In this role you will maintain the site services, ensuring that supplies are delivered safely and efficiently to meet the site requirements. You will carry out scheduled checks and servicing to maintain sites systems. You will record all works on the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and will ensure that all items of equipment which fall under legislative compliance are maintained and certificated in line with HSE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First time fixes and follow up
  • Rapid response to breakdown situations
  • Correct and timely diagnosis of faults
  • Record all activities on the CMMS
  • Completion of plant maintenance and checks
