Qualifications

Salary: Up to £44,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).

Circle Reading Hospital is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Sister - Charge Nurse to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include
  • Provide hands‑on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
  • Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
  • Promote high standards of nursing practice through supervision, coaching, and role modelling.
  • Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
  • Support the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students.
  • Contribute to the induction and ongoing development of new staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
