A healthcare provider in Wales is seeking a Simulation Technician to support immersive learning experiences for healthcare staff. This role involves operating advanced simulation technologies, managing training environments, and enhancing clinical education. Ideal candidates will possess strong IT and AV skills, have NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience, and be committed to improving patient care. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Clinical Education team as a Simulation Technician. You will play a vital role in supporting high‑quality immersive learning experiences for healthcare staff. This exciting role combines technical expertise with creativity, supporting the set‑up, operation, and maintenance of cutting‑edge simulation technologies—including high‑fidelity manikins, audio‑visual systems, and virtual reality platforms.
As a key member of the simulation team you will lead technical operations during training scenarios, ensuring smooth, realistic, and engaging learning environments. You will also be responsible for equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and supporting programme administration such as feedback collection and data management.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IT and AV skills who enjoys problem‑solving, teamwork and hands‑on technical work. The role offers the chance to directly enhance clinical training and make a real impact on patient care.
