Overview

Location: Royton, England. Permanent opportunity. Salary £30,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience. Expected hours: 39 per week. Monday to Friday day shift with an early finish on Friday. Immediate start likely. Free onsite parking.

The role: A skilled sheet metal worker is required to join a precision engineering company and contribute to the manufacturing process in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Produce bespoke products for the food, nuclear and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Read drawings and manufacture to a very high standard, working to fine tolerances and measurements.
  • Apply strong sheet metal/fabrication knowledge; assist with assembly as needed.
  • Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship-trained sheet metal worker or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read drawings and manufacture to high standards.
  • Experience working to fine tolerances and measurements.
  • Strong sheet metal/fabrication knowledge; MIG/TIG welding experience is advantageous.
  • Assembly experience.
  • Clean driving licence preferred.
