A regional agricultural service company in Littleport is seeking a service manager to oversee the Service department. This role requires strong knowledge of agricultural engineering and previous management experience, ensuring efficient operations and effective staff management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to manage customer expectations effectively. Reporting directly to the branch manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Service department, covering agricultural and some horticultural machinery. You will also be responsible for the organisation and management of the existing service staff, customer relations and departmental profitability, whilst maintaining effective and accurate communication between management, customers and technicians.
Start Date: Immediate, subject to successful candidates notice period
Hours: 42 hrs. per week – 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch). Additional hours may be required to include alternate Saturdays and peak times.
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience plus company vehicle and profit-related bonus.
