Qualifications

• Degree in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proven experience leading operations or development departments in fine chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Strong problem-solving skills in lab-based and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and ensure departmental compliance with HSE procedures.
• Lead operational planning for Production and Development teams.
• Manage departmental training, oversight, and internal proceedings.
• Review production records and QC testing data for compliance.
• Drive efficiencies and propose improvements to production processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across various departments.
• Serve as the primary site contact in the absence of the Site Director.
• Foster a positive and inclusive working environment.
