Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker is essential.

Senior Support Worker – Hartlepool

Pay: £13.22 per hour

Typical shifts: days 8-8 and nights 8-8

About the role

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Hartlepool. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day‑to‑day supervision. You could be allocating shifts, booking training, inducting new colleagues, supporting supervision, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day‑to‑day support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist people to gain more independence in their daily lives
  • Support the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and management of the service
  • Allocate shifts and book training sessions
  • Induct new colleagues
  • Support supervision
  • Order medication and ensure people are supported to manage finances
Qualifications
