A leading global company is looking for a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety Manager in Birmingham. This role will involve ensuring compliance with safety policies, managing teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, over 7 years of experience in safety and management, and a CPR/First Aid certification. The position requires effective communication and strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform in a dynamic work environment.

In this position you will partner with the site level operations team to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. Leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risks and create a safe and healthful working environment for our associates.
Those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must obtain one within 3 weeks of start date.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
