Do you thrive in a supervisory role andtake pride in ensuring effective collaboration amongst your team?We're looking for an enthusiastic and professional SeniorReceptionist, who will act as Team Leader, to join our BusinessOperations team in our London office.

We need a positive, polite and smart individual with a 'can-do'attitude and organised approach. Previous receptionist experiencewithin a professional services environment will be highly beneficialto this role, however any receptionist with exceptional client serviceskills will be considered.

Our Team

You will assist the Facilities Manager in managing a team ofreceptionists, while dealing with people of all levels from supportstaff to Partners and both internal and external clients. The teamwork on a rota basis to maintain cover between 7.30am and 7.00pm,therefore flexibility and proven experience of working effectively ina team is essential. There will be an occasional requirement tosupport evening events that would require working beyond 7pm.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the receptionservice based in London. This will include producing rotas,prioritising workload, arranging absence cover, holding team meetings,regular liaison with the Facilities Manager, and taking a pro-activeapproach to working with other teams. You'll be focusing on individualand team development to achieve objectives and improve performance, aswell as giving constructive feedback.

The role will also require you to work alongside the Events Managerand wider Business Development and Marketing team, and be involved inpre-event planning and logistics, liaising with relevant contacts onsite including maintenance, housekeeping, IT and external cateringproviders to ensure rooms and spaces are set up efficiently and correctly.

You'll also be responsible for carrying out on-job training for allnew and existing team members. While the focus of this position willbe management of the service and team members, there is a requirementto undertake operational work such as booking meeting rooms, placingand manging food orders from external suppliers, maintaining thereception area, issuing passes to all visitors and ensuring allservices are provided in accordance with the agreed service levels.

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a shift rota between7.30am and 7.00pm

You will be a dynamic, creative individual who understands theimportance and intricacies of client relationships, and this will bereflected in your professional and confidential approach to your work.You will have excellent communication and English language skills andbe able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels clearly andconfidently. Attention to detail is critical as well as excellenttelephone and PC skills, as you will need occupational competence inall of the tasks carried out by the team.

You will have proven experience being a team leader or supervisor,and be able to prioritise and delegate effectively, while alsomotivating, recognising and rewarding others fairly and consistently.On busier occasions you will need to have the ability to work underpressure and remain calm at all times.

In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in aclient-facing role, ideally within professional services. You willalso have experience of planning and management of both events and teams.
