Job description

This role is within JTC’s Private Client Service Division, which offers a comprehensive range of solutions to a diverse global client base through specialist regional teams.

The role involves providing JTC’s core Private Office services, including consultancy on family succession, governance, next-generation education, luxury assets, and relocation, under the supervision of the Senior Director and Global Head of Private Office.

The core offerings may expand or change over time, and the roleholder will assist with any revised or enlarged services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Provide technically sound proposals and engagement letters to clients, ensuring brand consistency through collaboration with the PCS Marketing team.
  • Deliver highly responsive client service.
  • Prepare instructions for legal and tax counsel, review advice, and interpret or implement recommendations as needed.
  • Understand and manage trust and corporate structures.
  • Identify succession and governance needs for families and family-owned businesses.
  • Coordinate advisers to fulfill client briefs.
  • Lead calls with clients and intermediaries.
  • Draft family charters for review by senior leadership.
  • Oversee a client book and ensure timely, effective client care.
  • Manage billing, cash collection, and debtors efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Manage and train team members, conduct appraisals, and oversee the UK Private Office coordinator.
  • Delegate and monitor team work.
  • Promote JTC Group services and identify new business opportunities.
  • Deputise for senior team members as needed.
  • Adhere to risk, compliance, AML, and CPD requirements, and follow company policies and values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role with understanding of fiduciary structuring.
  • Knowledge of risk management, relationship management, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high accuracy.
  • Relevant professional qualification, preferably STEP or ICSA.
  • Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in Viewpoint, Salesforce, or PandaDoc advantageous.
  • Strong prioritization, multitasking, and resilience skills.
  • High confidentiality and team ethics.
