An environmental consultancy is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hydrologist based in the UK. This mid-senior level role involves management and delivery of flood risk assessments, extensive modelling work, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates must have a Master’s degree relevant to hydrology, experience in hydraulic modelling, and proficiency in GIS. This position demands a high degree of independence as well as teamwork.

Qualifications

• Chartered or working towards chartership (preferably ICE or CIWEM).
• Experience in peat stability and related assessments.
• Demonstrable experience of successful delivery of hydrology reports.

Responsibilities

• Management and delivery of Flood Risk Assessment and SuDs schemes.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Undertaking extensive modelling work and report writing.
