We are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our established Team. Based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and with potential to work across all Trust sites, you will support the Health and Safety Team in providing an effective, professional H&S service across the Trust, working in both clinical and non-clinical settings. You will be a day-to-day first point of contact for H&S matters at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Please note that we will support the successful applicant to undertake continuing professional development while in post, and that we expect the post holder to be a Certified Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The H&S Team Manager would welcome informal conversations about this post, via telephone and email.
You will undertake policy development, audits, inspections, investigations and monitoring activities across the Trust, and you will be a course tutor for the in-house IOSH Managing Safely and Working Safely courses.
