This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as a subject matter expert in manufacturing processes, driving strategic improvements and operational excellence across cell production. You’ll mentor engineers, work closely with cross-functional teams, and influence best practices both internally and with external partners to optimise performance, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Champion Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency and quality
  • Lead process development and optimisation using tools like value stream mapping and cycle time analysis
  • Support technology transfer activities including FAT, documentation, training, and partner engagement
  • Apply SPC frameworks (control charts, Cp/Cpk, gauge R&R) and manage risk assessments (PFMEA, DFM/A, DRBFM)
  • Guide others in resolving complex issues and serve as an advisor on manufacturing strategies
What you’ll bring:
  • Degree (BEng/MEng) in Chemical, Process or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Several years’ proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Ideally industrial process expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Heat treatment
    • Deposition techniques (screen printing)
    • Laser ablation or welding
    • Ceramics processing
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and mentoring
