A community care organization in Wolverhampton is looking for a compassionate caregiver to support residents in their homes. In this role, you will monitor wellbeing, provide medication support, and engage in care planning with various professionals. Your leadership will be key in guiding your team to deliver excellent care. This full-time position of 35 hours per week offers a supportive environment and a range of benefits including flexible working, annual leave, and a pension scheme.
You will be working in an Extracare scheme, caring for our customers in their own homes.
You will monitor the wellbeing of each resident, providing medication support and person centred-care. You will be involved in the care planning process and work with social services, SALT team, district nurses etc, promoting independence and well‑being by ensuring that residents` personal, psychological and social care needs are met. You will lead your team demonstrating by example good care practices. You will develop staff by completing staff supervisions and support of team members to their full potential.
This role is contracted hours to 35 hours per week.
The shift pattern will be a mix of 7:30-3pm and 2:30-10pm and alternate week ends.
You need to have a caring nature with the desire to make a difference, helping our customers retain as much of their independence as possible, promoting dignity and respect with everything you do.
