Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Associate at the CSG Legal office located in Galashiels. The role involves managing a diverse caseload across Family Law, Child Protection, and Criminal Defence. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting legal documentation, conducting client consultations, representing clients in court, providing legal advice, and assisting in developing litigation strategies. The successful applicant would be responsible for the day to day running of our Galashiels office.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Family Law, Child Protection, and Criminal Defence
• Proficiency in legal drafting, case management, and litigation strategy development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
• Ability to handle complex legal cases independently while working collaboratively within a team
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Qualification as a solicitor in Scotland with current practicing certification
• Experience working with vulnerable clients or within child protection frameworks is beneficial
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
