As a Senior AI Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to identify opportunities for leveraging AI and related technologies to solve complex business and operational challenges. You will contribute to strategic engagements from discovery through to implementation roadmap, working alongside our best-in-class delivery team to see your ideas actualised!

If you are passionate about AI’s potential and enjoy shaping strategy at the highest level, we can’t wait to hear from you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively contribute to AI strategy engagements, particularly, but not exclusively, for clients in the defence and wider public sector

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to uncover business needs and objectives

  • Develop recommendations and roadmaps for AI adoption, considering technical capability, risk, regulatory context, and organisational impact

  • Analyse business and operational data to generate insights that guide strategic decision-making and AI initiative prioritisation

  • Forecast business outcomes and develop relevant financial models to quantify the value of strategic initiatives, particularly return on investment (ROI)

  • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights and value propositions for senior client audiences

  • Work collaboratively with internal and client technical teams to ensure strategic opportunities are feasible and aligned with available capabilities

  • Stay at the forefront of developments in AI, particularly GenAI and LLMs, and proactively share insights internally to contribute to ADSP’s thought leadership

  • Produce high-quality written reports, presentations, and executive summaries to communicate findings and recommendations

  • Support proposal writing and pursuit of new business in AI strategy and consulting

REQUIREMENTS (Essential):
  • Proven experience in a strategic AI, data, or technology consulting role

  • Demonstrable expertise in Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and their real-world application (hands on development not required)

  • Familiarity with vendor landscape in Generative AI and cloud technologies and platforms

  • Experience working directly with clients at senior and executive level, including running workshops and giving presentations

  • Experience analysing data using tools such as Excel or PowerBI

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing

  • Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients over the course of projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience structuring ambiguous challenges into actionable plans, frameworks and methodologies

  • Organisational skills, including project planning, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness

  • Proactive, collaborative attitude, with a desire to continually learn and deliver value

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

REQUIREMENTS (Non-Essential):
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative or technical discipline

  • Prior work in defence, security, or public sector environments

  • Experience advising on governance, and regulatory implications of AI adoption

  • Understanding of ethical considerations in AI, with the ability to advise clients on responsible and trustworthy AI practices
