We are seeking an experienced PERMANENT SAP Project Manager / Engagement Manager to lead client relationships, oversee delivery excellence, and drive the successful execution of SAP projects & AMS initiatives at prestigious British customer.

This is a PERMANENT role.

This role is responsible for overall engagement governance, stakeholder management, and ensuring that project teams deliver high‑quality SAP solutions aligned to client outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a proven background managing complex SAP (ECC & S/4H) engagements, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to build trusted relationships at all organisational levels.

This is a multi‑hatted role as the business and customer relationship grows.

You will be onsite 3 > 5 days a week in Hertfordshire, hands on within SD, MM & WM modules – scoping, defining, fixing, advising alongside the Customer Team – while also being the Project Manager for multiple customer projects.

You will also have commercial awareness to bring in the commercial account team for areas of opportunity, whilst succinctly positioning how KaarTech can help solve the identified customer problems.

Key Responsibilities

Onsite Client & Stakeholder Management

• 3 > 5 days a week onsite
• Single point of contact between onshore and offshore team
• Highly capable with 7+ years SAP experience
• Act as the primary onsite point of contact for client leadership throughout the SAP engagement lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong executive‑level relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Translate client business needs into actionable delivery plans and ensure the consultancy is positioned as a trusted advisor.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and status reporting.

Engagement Governance & Delivery Oversight

• Hands on within SD, MM & WM modules – scoping, defining, fixing, advising alongside the Customer Team
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, ensuring adherence to methodology, scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional project teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical experts, and third‑party vendors.
• Identify delivery risks, issues, and dependencies; manage mitigation strategies and elevate when needed.
• Ensure compliance with PMO and engagement governance frameworks.

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience managing SAP engagements or programmes within a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of ECC & S/4HANA transformations.
• Proven experience managing multi‑workstream, multimillion‑pound projects.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management skills at C‑suite and senior leadership levels.
• Solid commercial acumen with experience in financial oversight and contractual management.
• SAP programme delivery certifications (e.g., SAP Activate, PMP, Prince2).
• Experience with the logistics & manufacturing sectors.
