Position: Safeguarding Professional (Voluntary Advisory Board Member)
Organisation: The REIGN Collective C.I.C.
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Time commitment: Approx. 2–4 hours per month
About The REIGN Collective
The REIGN Collective is a forward-thinking Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to tackling Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSA/E) through survivor-led initiatives. Our mission is to reshape how society, systems, and institutions respond to and support those affected by CSA/E.
We do this by educating professionals, practitioners, and communities—using lived experience to challenge harmful assumptions, strengthen safeguarding practice, and help repair the systems that failed us as children. Through training, consultancy, youth engagement, and advocacy, REIGN works to improve responses to CSA/E and help safeguard children across the UK.
We are seeking a Safeguarding Professional to join our Advisory Board. This voluntary role will help ensure safeguarding remains central to everything we do, providing strategic guidance, oversight, and constructive challenge where needed.
At REIGN, our work is rooted in equity, inclusion, sustainability, collaboration, and empowerment. We are looking for someone who shares these values and actively embodies them in their professional practice.
Voluntary role: This is an unpaid position and no expenses will be provided.
Meeting structure: Two in-person meetings per year (Manchester, UK). All other meetings are online (at least four times annually).
Impact: Help ensure safeguarding best practice is embedded across all areas of REIGN’s work.
Network: Connect with a committed, values-led team and wider safeguarding community.
Growth: Build governance and safeguarding advisory experience within a survivor-led organisation.
If you’re excited to contribute your safeguarding expertise to REIGN’s mission—and your personal and professional values align with ours—we’d love to hear from you.
