Overview

Retail Team Driver - Middlesbrough - £13.73 p/hr* + Enhancements

Responsibilities

• Oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.
• Work on different retail customer sites and stores; travel will vary by shift. Certain locations may have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• Follow correct processes when notifying your count team of pick-up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalate any vehicle issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete a team attendance sheet detailing stock counters, attendance, and bus arrival times on site.
• Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately on site using a handheld scanner.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and use equipment to reach high stock when required.

Key Skills / Experience

• Willing to work unsociable hours; early mornings or night shifts; applicants under 21 are not eligible.
• Full Driving Licence required.
• Ability to adopt a positive, proactive attitude and work long shifts on large counts.
• Quick learner with adapting to changing technology.
• Experience handling stock is an advantage but not essential.
