Job description

We are looking for calm, resourceful Relief Support Workers who are highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support older people in a proactive and holistic manner. Prince of Wales Drive is an Extra Care scheme for older people located next to Battersea Park.

About the Scheme

The scheme consists of 59 self-contained flats and focuses on providing integrated, holistic care and support to older people with diverse needs, including dementia, mental health issues, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and complex health needs.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Support individuals to maintain their wellbeing mentally, physically, and emotionally.
  2. Support people to access work, education, and social opportunities.
  3. Assist with personal care and domestic tasks.
  4. Engage with individuals using positive communication and unconditional positive regard.
  5. Encourage and empower individuals to achieve their personal goals.
  6. Bring personal skills and interests such as sports, arts, music, or cooking to enrich residents' lives.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of twelve months experience working with vulnerable adults.
  • Willingness to embrace all aspects of the Relief Support Worker role.
  • Location in and eligibility to work within the UK.
Additional Information

We offer weekly or monthly pay, according to the candidate's preference.
