Job summary

A global sanitary fittings provider is looking for an experienced Specification Manager to oversee specification activities across projects in the UK, specifically in hospitality and residential sectors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in specification sales and the ability to manage relationships across multi-stakeholder environments. Key responsibilities include gaining specifications, project management, and promoting technical value propositions. This role provides opportunities for influencing high-profile projects and driving specification-led growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a project-based role within construction, sanitaryware, KBB, or similar built environment.
  • Strong track record in specification sales.
  • Excellent technical product understanding, ideally including bathroom fixtures.
  • Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Gain and protect specifications through architects, designers, developers and contractors.
  • Identify complex projects early and navigate multi-layered decision processes.
  • Promote GROHE’s technical and value proposition to contractors and consultants.
  • Co-manage projects with commercial merchant accounts to increase sales turnover.
  • Maintain and update CRM (Salesforce) with accurate project data.
  • Deliver CPDs and represent GROHE at industry events.
