A leading energy company is seeking a Real Time Systems Design and Delivery Engineer in Portsmouth. The role involves designing SCADA field systems and acting as a technical liaison for projects. Ideal candidates should have experience with substation control systems and excellent organizational skills. Salary: £61,620 - £72,592 depending on skills and experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The Technical Services Team are responsible for design and delivery of SCADA, Protection and Control Systems that enables SSE Network Management Centres (NMC) to manage its extensive Electricity Distribution Network. To ensure the continued success of the department, we are looking to recruit a Real Time Systems Design and Delivery Engineer.
Real Time Systems Design and delivery (RTSD) Engineer, reporting to the lead RTSD Engineer, will play a pivotal role in interpreting business and customer requirements to turn them into technical solutions and manage deliverables.
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work‑related travel.
The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.
A valid driving licence is essential.
