QA Tester 12-Month FTC - UK Only (Remote/Hybrid/Brighton)

We’re FuturLab, the award-winning game studio behind the PowerWash Simulator series, the Velocity series, Peaky Blinders Mastermind, and many more awesome games. FuturLab are looking for a QA Tester to join our team. If enhancing the quality of a soothing, relaxing game sounds like your thing, then you should keep on reading! We are hiring this role as remote; however, a successful candidate could be office-based or work a hybrid setup, if preferred.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Efficient execution of scripted, exploratory, regression & halo testing
  • Providing general feedback to help improve end user experience
  • Communicating and working with external QA teams
  • Working in a fast-paced development environment, where priorities can quickly shift
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in games
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and an aptitude for problem solving
  • A passion for video games
  • Experience with all PC and console gaming platforms
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans
  • Experience with Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo certification requirements
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking softwareA good understanding of the game development process
  • A keen intuition and self‑driven individual
  • Candidates without a valid UK work Visa cannot be considered.

Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
