Job Description

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for handling our IT-related projects. Specifically, our Healthcare & Billing Migration from one system to another. You will work closely with the IT team, operations, and finance teams to ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective communication plans, as well as executing these plans effectively.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Background in Healthcare Insurance/Benefits Administration, focusing on enrolment, benefits administration, vendor partner integration, and member & employer-facing services.
  2. Create and document process flows, functional and technical requirements in user stories, process maps for user experience design, testing, and implementation.
  3. Analyze business implications and apply problem-solving skills to meet business needs.
  4. Translate information creatively using business knowledge and identify additional information needed to support business objectives.
  5. Interact with internal/external customers to define information for solution development.
  6. Develop and integrate delivery approach, dependencies, resource requirements, and schedule for multiple workstreams within the overall program and launch schedule.
  7. Develop detailed project schedules, integrate project plans into other release schedules, and resolve schedule and resource conflicts.
  8. Participate in presenting information to customers and internal business areas.
  9. Create business, product, and third-party vendor specifications.
  10. Support product implementation and launch.
  11. Manage communications with stakeholders, leadership, and project teams, including project plans, status reports, and updates.
  12. Lead cross-functional teams without authority and foster a shared sense of urgency for project success.
  13. Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational and policy changes for new system implementation.
Skills:
  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with quick, methodical issue resolution.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating business issues into technical solutions.
  3. Experience in Healthcare Insurance, especially with customer-facing portals and back-office operations.
  4. Minimum 6+ years in Business Analysis.
  5. Minimum 8+ years in Business Applications and Systems Solution delivery.
  6. Proven ability to map business processes, gather requirements, and write technical/business documentation.
  7. At least 3 years of Project Management experience in iterative environments.
  8. Experience managing technical and functional requirements and traceability.
  9. Ability to drive change and make decisions with sound reasoning.
  10. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, TFS.
  11. Extensive experience with healthcare, claims, provider reimbursements, and clinical/provider-facing portals and applications.
  12. Experience managing end-to-end requirements and implementation with third-party vendors.
  13. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable to change, and eager to learn new skills.
