Production Operator – Mowys Byrå

Are you an experienced Production Operator?

Join us at our centre of excellence for cheese cutting and packing of the nation's favourite cheeses – Cathedral City, Davidstow and Wensleydale.

Shift: Full Time – Various shifts available!

Holiday: 25 days per year + bank holidays

You will make contributions that matter by supporting our production team.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of the Operations team in an air temperature of 12 °C.
• Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding and control, line set‑up, operating wrapping machines, and using machinery and material handling equipment.
• Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).

Qualifications

• Familiarity with a food production environment.
• Experience in a similar Operator role.
• Knowledgeable in Health and Safety.
• Experience with manual handling, ideally gained in a manufacturing role.
• Able to adapt to an ever‑changing production environment.
• Experienced working with different types of machinery.
