Overview

Job Title: Production Operative (Fabricator)

Location: Paignton

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday: 6am - 5:30pm

Job Purpose: To manufacture high-quality aluminium products on the production line for internal and external customers. Working as part of a small, skilled team, you’ll contribute to various stages of production while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-standard working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate within different sections of the production line, including cutting, routing, cleating, fitting, and glazing
  • Use power tools and aluminium fabrication machinery safely and effectively
  • Maintain high build quality and adhere to all production standards
  • Rotate between tasks to support team flexibility and cover absences
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines
  • Work in alignment with company policies, operational standards, and Epwin’s core values
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across the business
Role Requirements
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous, though not essential
  • Ability to use powered tools and fabrication equipment safely
  • Physically able to lift up to 25kg unaided
  • Solid multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
