This role is essential in ensuring that all procurement activities meet applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including export controls, defence procurement regulations, and internal policies.**Skills and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).* Proven experience in a compliance, procurement, or supply chain role within a defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated industry.* Familiarity with export control regulations and international trade compliance.* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stakes, regulated environment.* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (e.g. SAP).* Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholder to develop a meaningful and value-added network.* Experience of internal and external auditing, and corrective action resolution.* Proven experience of problem-solving and continuous improvement* Good working knowledge of customer and supplier due diligence tools and techniques.**Desirable*** Familiarity with international and national standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 28000).* Experience with compliance management systems or supplier risk platforms.* Working knowledge of UK and international defence regulations and procurement standards.* Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, ICA, NCMA).* Six sigma or other recognised continuous improvement experience.* Financial Acumen; working knowledge of programme and business financial management.* Programme management skills (Risk Management/Programme Gating/ Metrics).* Experience with SAP S4 HANA.* Experience of Customer/Supplier Relationship Management.* Experience of Digital transformation and automation.**Responsibilities*** **Compliance Monitoring and support** + Support the implementation and manage the supply chain compliance frameworks across subcontracting and procurement activities. + Ensure successful governance / compliance of the business through routine monitoring of the application of appropriate Raytheon policies and procedures. + Lead the subcontract and supply chain functions internal and external audits and management of correct action resolution. + Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Raytheon UK’s policies and procedures, in collaboration with Internal stakeholders, Raytheon Corporate, Customers and regulatory bodies. + Support On Time Delivery (OTC) and the prompt payment of suppliers by ensuring purchase order and invoice issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner and at the root cause.* **Supplier Maintenance & Management** + Ensure successful compliance of key suppliers aligned to Raytheon policies, legal and regulatory requirements. + Support the management of risks within the supply chain by monitoring adverse media events, screening alerts, political/economic/environmental changes. + Manage the supplier onboarding process, ensuring all requirement information is available and due diligence is completed. + Monitor the Approved Vendor List (AVL) for unused vendors and work with relevant stakeholders to remove as required. + Ensure all key stake holders (e.g. Programme leads, MPM) and customers are appropriately notified of any significant risks.* **Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation** + Project manage functional continuous improvement activities aligned to Raytheon UK’s and Supply Chains’ goals and continuous improvement strategy. + Proactively seek out improvement opportunities utilising digital transformation and automation.* **Communication, reporting and documentation** + Prepare and maintain compliance reports, dashboards, Control Tower metrics, and audit logs. + Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all times. + Support the function’s communications and events as required (e.g. All Hands events, Broadcast updates). + Help deliver training and awareness sessions on key compliance topics such as open order book management, export controls, anti-bribery, and modern slavery. + Act as the point of contact for compliance-related queries from Commercial, Sub-Contract and Supply Chain teams.#LI-MF1*RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
