A local authority in the UK is seeking two Principal Planners, one permanent and one temporary, to join the Planning Enforcement team. The ideal candidates will have a strong planning background and experience in enforcement. Employment Status: 1 x Permanent and 1 x 18 months FTC
Hours per week: 37
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working
Salary: Grade F - £44,075 to £47,181 pa + £3,000 P/A Market Supplement (Reviewed after 2 Years)

Join our busy and dedicated Planning Enforcement team, handling around 600 cases annually. This is a pivotal role where you’ll provide expert planning advice, guide enforcement decisions, engage with Councilors, progress cases to formal action and help shape the future of our district.
The temporary post will initially focus primarily on progressing existing cases relating to non-compliance with Section 106 agreements relating to open space and infrastructure provision on major sites.
