Overview

The children, staff and Governing Body of Croftlands Infant and Nursery School are looking to appoint a Pre-School Assistant on a fixed term contract until July 2026 due to budgetary funding. FTE Salary PCD5 £25,183.00 pro rata. Hours – 31.5 hours per week, over 5 days, shifts vary. This is an all-year-round position.



About the role

As a Pre-school Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and attention to children, including personal care; creating a stimulating and safe play environment that supports child development; observing and documenting children’s progress and development; collaborating with parents and other staff to ensure consistent care; maintaining a clean and organized classroom; adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures; supporting the development and implementation of individual care plans.
