About the Company

We are well established in the social housing sector and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

About the Position

Gilmartins is looking to recruit experienced Plumber Multi‑Traders with additional trades such as basic electrics, lock changing/replacement, window repairs, and boarding up. The ideal tradesperson will have worked in social housing.

The job requires shift work between 6 pm to 4 am, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis. It involves work and travel all over South London, including Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Southwark, Lambeth and surrounding areas. We are looking for people who live locally and are happy to travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance works for social housing.
• Work to the Scope of Works on PDA for each job.

Requirements

• Full driving licence.
• Own tools.
• Time served or qualifications.
• Experience of working in social housing.
• DBS certificate (no more than 3 years old).
• CSCS card (required due to changes in legislation following the Grenfell Inquiry).
