Job summary

A leading UK law firm in Bournemouth is seeking a proactive P&C Operations Manager to oversee their People services. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, manage payroll and benefits, and coach a high-performing team. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in P&C operations, strong expertise in payroll, and abilities in team leadership. The firm promotes a flexible working approach with hybrid opportunities, ideally expecting candidates in the Bournemouth office three days a week.

  • Lead day-to-day P&C operations across the full employee lifecycle
  • Manage payroll and benefits with precision and care
  • Coach and develop a high-performing P&C operations team
  • Own our HR systems and data (Access – People HR)
  • Drive process improvements and tech upgrades
  • Ensure compliance and keep policies sharp and user-friendly
  • Enhance employee experience from onboarding to offboarding
