Qualifications

• Experience in paint spraying and finalising in the commercial vehicle industry.
• Consistently high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to ensure production targets and quality are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels, including filler and sealer work.
• Strip and re-fit vehicles.
• Perform paintwork using 2K primer, top coat, and base coat.
• Work both individually and within a team to meet production targets.
• Follow instructions from team members and senior colleagues.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain production area housekeeping.
• Minimise waste of materials and consumables.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Adapt to other duties as required by the company.

Vehicle Prepper, Paint Sprayer & re-fitter

Overview

To work in a busy family operated business seeing new and used Race Transporters and Exhibition vehicles through the complete paintwork process from prep to finish.

Location

Bristol BS10 7RS, 2.5 miles from M5 J17

Working Hours

Your hours of work will be 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday – Thursday (with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3:00 pm finish on Fridays. Summer option to finish at 1:30 pm on Fridays.

You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.

Key Objectives

You will be responsible for working on new and used race transporters through every stage of paintwork from start to finish. You must have previous experience of working with two‑pack paints & base coat, working to material manufacturer guidelines and be capable of producing high‑quality work.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & panel prep including filler & sealer work.
• Vehicle strip & re‑fit.
• Paintwork in 2K primer, top coat & base coat.
• Be able to work individually and within a team to meet production targets.
• Follow clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain production area housekeeping.
• Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and will occasionally require other duties. Adequate training will be provided.

Key Skills And Experience

• Paint spraying/prepping and finalising experience ideally in the commercial vehicle industry.
• Consistently high standard of workmanship.
• Previous experience of working with single‑pack and two‑pack paint.
• Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained.
