Job summary

A global leader in cabling solutions is seeking a Mobilization Manager in Tees Valley. This role involves transforming vessel mobilisation concepts into operational plans, leading engineering and planning efforts, and ensuring project safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in submarine cable installation and strong offshore operations expertise. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in submarine cable mobilisation/installation or wider cable-industry projects.
  • Strong offshore operations experience across shallow, mid, or deep-water cable installation.
  • Experience working with submarine power cables and maintaining high HSE standards.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing the right hire equipment to meet project requirements and budgets.
  • Leading the engineering and planning of vessel mobilisations.
  • Preparing detailed shipyard scopes of work.
  • Overseeing mobilisation activities in line with classification and flag requirements.

Skills

Proven experience in submarine cable mobilisation/installation
Strong offshore operations experience
Hands-on understanding of vessels and subsea systems
Confident communicator with cable industry knowledge
Ability to lead multi-discipline offshore teams

Education

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Engineering Technology
