A local government organization in the UK is seeking a Newly Qualified Social Worker to join their program in Norfolk. This full-time role offers a supportive start into statutory social work, competitive salary of up to £37,280, and dedicated development opportunities. Ideal candidates are committed to children’s services and must hold a valid UK driving licence. Exceptional support and training are provided throughout the first two years of employment.
We are recruiting a Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) to join our Norfolk Institute for Practice Excellence (NIPE) programme. The role offers a supported start into statutory social work in Norfolk Children’s Services.
• Permanent contract (subject to successful completion of ASYE)
• Starting salary £37,280 per annum (Scale I)
• Up to 37 hours per week.
• Must be able to travel as part of the role and have a current UK driving licence and a vehicle. Provisional licence holders are welcome to apply; conditional offers may allow a delayed start of up to six months to pass the driving test. Failure to pass within six months will result in withdrawal of the offer.
