Mortgage and Protection Advisor – Self-employed – Blackpool/Lancashire

One of our Principal firms that introduce to Just Mortgages are looking for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisor to be based in the Blackpool/Lancashire area. This role is self employed, fully flexible and remote, but the business owner would like the opportunity to occasionally meet up to support, so being commutable into the area is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Follow up leads from potential customers to convert into sales
  • Source leads proactively from all available routes
  • Recommend the most suitable product to suit the customer\'s needs, priorities and circumstances within a regulatory environment
  • Assess customer affordability in order to lend responsibly and in line with regulations
  • Achieve set individual targets in a variety of areas and contribute towards the overall performance of the team
  • Ensure market knowledge is continuously developed and maintained
  • Build and forecast a pipeline with accuracy on completion
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in terms of conversions
Qualifying Criteria
  • Hold Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practise (CeMAP) or alternative
  • Experience within the mortgage brokerage market
  • Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
  • An excellent understanding of the mortgage market, products and services
  • Confident in presenting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to overcome challenges
  • Experience of Financial Services sales and understanding of compliance regulations
  • A passion for achieving a fantastic customer experience.
