Following the acquisition of Hermes Investments by Federated in 2018, strategic initiatives to harmonise processes and practices are a strong element of the global change agenda. This role will provide Investment Operations BAU and change management support within a programme of work designed to reinforce firm‑wide integration, create opportunities for commercial growth, and deliver operational efficiency improvements across the US and UK. Phase one of harmonisation is adoption of consistent Trading Order Management System (OMS) and Federated Hermes Limited (FHL) will be moving from the current OMS to new Equity and Fixed‑income OMS platforms consistent with the US office, creating a harmonised global model. A key component is to establish an interim TMP Trade Management Provider model.
This will serve to support the core middle office functions specific to transaction management. The interim structure will introduce a newly defined Global Model. This role sits within the Investment Operations – Middle Office team reporting to the Head of Transaction Control and Oversight. As a Middle Office Oversight and control Manager you will have a varied role supporting the new OMS and supporting systems with a broad view across all Front Office and Operations functions. This will also entail being the main escalation point to help manage the new tri‑party outsource model.
Time will be split between picking up the new BAU processes and managing the tri‑party outsource relationship:
