A dedicated Primary Academy in Loughborough is seeking a Midday Supervisor to ensure the safety and positive behavior of students during break times. The role involves supervising students in various areas, responding to incidents, and collaborating with staff to promote wellbeing. Lift Beacon is a thriving Primary Academy in Loughborough, serving children aged 2 to 11 years old. The school is dedicated to ensuring every child receives an excellent education each day, with high expectations, a broad and enriching curriculum, and a strong focus on personal development. Graded ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted in 2021, it is an IQM (Inclusion Quality Mark) Centre of Excellence school. In January 2024 a local Principal, Mr Ben Kilgannon, joined, promoting teamwork and collaborative staff development.
The school is vibrant and busy, and we are looking for a Midday Supervisor to take care of all students on the school premises during any breaktime hours when students are not in class. The role is critical in ensuring the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of students, supervising them in dining areas, playgrounds and other designated areas to create a safe and enjoyable breaktime experience.
You will have experience of supervising children or young people as a parent or carer, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, resolve problems independently, and use initiative. The role commences ASAP and is a permanent position. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if the response is overwhelming.
