An educational trust is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join the team at The Suthers School in East Midlands. Salary: Scale 2 Point 3-4 (£24,796-£25,185 pro-rata per annum, £12,228-£12,420 actual per annum)
Contract: Permanent, 21.25 hours per week, term-time only

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a Midday Supervisor to join our team at The Suthers School.

Responsibilities
  • Supervision of dining areas
  • Be responsible for allocated areas and students each day.
  • Oversee and control queues and areas where students wait or queue for their meal.
  • Maintain a good standard of behaviour throughout the lunch/break period.
  • Always maintain vigilance to support the safeguarding of children and always keep the health, safety and welfare of students in mind.
  • Behave in a manner which maintains professional boundaries, respect and courtesy.
  • Be assertive in ensuring that students always behave safely and considerately.
  • Be aware of how to contact a first aider and of the fire evacuation procedures.
  • Clear spillages quickly and clean as necessary
  • See that dining areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Support the school’s ‘work hard, be kind’ philosophy and its commitment to developing five key character strengths (tenacity, optimism, respect, curiosity and hard work)
