Contract type: Permanent to begin April 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter

Working pattern: 0.8 (FTE) 4 days per week

Salary: M1 – U3

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, the governors, staff and pupils are seeking an exceptional and inspirational professional to coordinate our Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking and committed staff team who work together to create a happy environment for learning. The post holder will be expected to teach French in both KS2 and KS3, and possibly some Spanish in KS3, as well as evaluating, developing and enhancing the curriculum. Previous or current experience of doing so would be seen as an advantage.
