Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all M&E areas of the hotel.

Sofitel London Heathrow is an award-winning hotel that is the perfect blend of style and convenience. With 605 spacious ensuite rooms plus a selection of restaurants and bars showcasing fresh international flavours. Our luxurious hotel is connected to terminal 5 and has spa and fitness facilities. The 45 meeting rooms include a flexible ballroom accommodating up to 1,300 delegates.

What you will do
  • Plan and manage the day to day operations of all M&E areas of the hotel and ensure all service standards are followed and report back on financial performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Implement, measure, monitor and improve all guest service and guest recognition programs such as trust you.
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings.
  • Demonstrate a management style which promotes effective development and use of team members through regular reviews and coaching.
  • Provide support and training on upselling and negotiating techniques for all team members within the M&E/Food & Beverage service area.
  • Keep staffing in line with payroll budget and proactively plan employee holidays and balance seasonal fluctuations.
