A leading architectural practice in the UK is seeking a Masterplanner to join their dynamic team in Sheffield. The role involves managing project outputs, working collaboratively across studios, and assisting in the growth of masterplanning as a specialism. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in urban design, project management, and a strong understanding of the UK planning system.

We are looking for a Masterplanner to join our friendly, dynamicMasterplanning and UrbanDesign Team. You will work alongside our Head of Masterplanning and in-house team to manage and deliver project outputs, and assist with achieving our ambitions to grow this business specialism, while supporting the multidisciplinary designers across our studios in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The individual should have a background degree in either Architecture, Landscape or Masterplanning, and hold a Master’s in Urban Design or equivalent qualification. We would expect 5 years post-qualification experience to align with our ambitions for a self-motivated, well organised individual to form a key role in this national team.
Examples of achieving design excellence and/or pioneering research-based work would be an advantage, along with experience of working for UK Housebuilders, and/or institutional developers. You will have working knowledge of the UK’s planning system and application process, along with having maintained good client relations.
