Job description

Note: This is a fixed-term contract from 1st March 2026 to 31st December 2026 to cover maternity leave. Candidates must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract and be located within 45 minutes' travel of Cambridge, UK.

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a B2B SaaS company on a 10-month maternity cover contract. Operating in the market insights space, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and drive our marketing strategy forward during this crucial period.

This is a hands-on role, in an established business, where you'll be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase product awareness and adoption. You'll work closely with our COO, CEO and BDM to drive go-to-market activity, while overseeing day-to-day marketing operations and managing one marketing executive.

What We're Looking For
Essential
  • Proven experience in a marketing manager or senior marketing role, ideally within Technology / SaaS or B2B publishing / information-related sectors.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience with email marketing campaigns and lead generation.
  • Content creation and marketing experience.
  • CRM management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing team members.
  • Understanding of extended B2B sales cycles and marketing funnels.
Desirable
  • Experience with HubSpot, Clay, and Figma.
  • Experience with marketing automation and workflow optimisation.
  • Background in the business information or data services sector.
  • Knowledge of experience in analyst or investment research.
