Compensation: £50,000 - £55,000 / year

Reports to: Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: Leicester (Hybrid 4 days per week in the office)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Due to our continued expansion and as part of our Technology estate, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team based in Leicester (Hybrid working).

As a member of the Technology team, you will be working with key stakeholders within the business to get the very best from our existing and new functionality of our Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Tools. Communication is key, you will need to actively engage with the business and project teams to understand their needs and work collaboratively to deliver optimal solutions.

What We Need From Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

• A proven track record as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with at least 4 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, along with a Marketing Cloud Developer certification.
• Design, develop and optimise customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio and Web Studio.
• Strong experience writing SQL queries for segmentation, reporting and automation.
• Build dynamic and personalised content using AMPscript, HTML/CSS and SQL.
• Creation and management of automations, data extensions and segmentation logic.
• Support and enhance integrations between Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).
• Monitor and report on Marketing and Operational performance and provide improvement recommendations.
• Create documentation and technical process guides for any development.
• Proven experience of using Salesforce integration tools, specifically MuleSoft and Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Be customer centric to ensure the business and project teams have an excellent user experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements:

• 4 years’+ experience as a Marketing Cloud Developer.
• Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Web Studio).
• Strong proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS and JavaScript (preferred).
• Experience in writing SOQL queries in Salesforce.
• Experience working with Salesforce objects and Marketing Cloud Connect.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and Marketing Cloud best practices.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
