Our comprehensive offering includes: affordable medical, dental, and vision care; flexible spending accounts; life insurance; 401k with company match and much, much more.**Job Description**Essential Job Functions:Responsible for assisting and developing manufacturing cost estimates for business cases.Leading in DFM/DFA workshops.Ensuring that customer requirements are met by planning and helping to design manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes for Teijin production facilities.Coordinates the launch of manufacturing equipment/processes for new and revised products across Teijin facilities from inception to execution.Ensure manufacturability of engineering designs and engineering changes.Collaborates with I.E. and Product Engineering groups to determine the parts, equipment, tools, material handling, part flow and processes needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.Maintain and ensure supplier compliance to equipment standards by creating detailed RFQ’s and efficient project management through timely design reviews, validation, and installation.Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, company performance standards and specifications.Effectively work and communicate with customer and or Program Manager to interpret their needs and requirements.Perform overall project control of the equipment launch (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status.Review project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions for all areas of the equipment/process being launched.Identify, qualify, and develop new equipment suppliers.Performs research, testing, data gathering, measurements, or engineering analysis in an office, laboratory or manufacturing environment. Engineering assignments of average complexity may be performed independently.Support internal and external teams during the concept development process for the industrialization of customer projects.Conduct time and method studies establishing time standards for manufacturing operations.Develop standards for plant layouts, work instructions, process flow layout, set-up procedures while adhering to safety, quality and productivity procedures and policies.Conduct line balancing studies, process simulations and material flow studies to achieve optimum balance between man and machine.Time management and organization skills.Decision making ability and leadership skills.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relative field with minimum of 5 years of experience or technical training with 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering related field.Previous work experience or knowledge of engineering, automotive, or manufacturing strongly preferred including experience with navigating various 3D drawing formats and a working understanding of GD&T.Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.Composites post mold processing experience is a plus.*If you enjoy innovation, and an opportunity to learn and contribute to a growing organization, CSP is the place for you!*[](blob:https://thecsp.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/cb188e58-6046-471d-89c3-44d60132d530)0:00 / 1:00Being a CSP employee means having the opportunity to see your impact every day.
