About the role:

The University of Lancashire wishes to recruit a Management Accountant to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team to assist with the production and analysis of the income Budget and Forecasts.

The postholder will be primarily involved in building the Budget and Forecast income model, coordinating student headcounts with Schools, and be responsible for providing insight and analysis into variances to support decision making.

About you:

The postholder will have experience of Excel financial modelling and analysing complex spreadsheets, along with experience of disciplined management accounting and Forecasting processes, including Budget setting for an organisation.

For this role you will need to hold an AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) and be working towards a professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
