Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in the UK is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a double-day shift pattern. In this role, you will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, completed a Level 3 apprenticeship, and have experience in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus.
  • IPAF & FLT training desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and EHS policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and repairs.
  • Maintain documentation of interventions.

In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
