A London-based boutique VFX studio is seeking a VFX Line Producer to oversee project management, liaise with production teams, and ensure timely delivery of VFX projects. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a similar role within a VFX environment, is organized, and communicates effectively. This contract position offers an opportunity to shape the delivery of innovative digital creations.
Automatik VFX, a London & Berlin based boutique VFX studio provides the full spectrum of digital image creation. Operating mostly as the sole vendor we cover everything from conceptual design pre-shoot, through post-vis to the final delivered VFX.
The VFX Line Producer is central to VFX project management and in this role you will liaise with all of the production and post-production teams. Working closely with, and on behalf of the VFX Producer, you will help strategise and implement tasks and targets, crucial to the delivery of the project on time and on budget.
The VFX Line Producer reports to the General Manager (Paul Mackman) but this is subject to change at the company’s discretion.
Frequently adapting a detailed plan for the delivery of a project to the VFX Producer, VFX Supervisors and individual artists. Assisting the leads/VFX Supervisors and VFX Producers to oversee artists so they meet deadlines.
You will assist the VFX Producer in managing the finances of a production and ensuring schedules are kept so the budget is maintained. This could be by collating data and maintaining databases, building reports, structuring and implementing schedules for artists and ensuring client approvals are documented and progressing.
Help create, implement and run the schedule, track and manage the workflow through the departments and meet internal and external deadlines. Whilst assisting and overseeing Coordinators to ensure the good organisation of dailies, rounds and meetings and the taking of notes and follow up of information.
As you will communicate changes to client sessions, dailies or meetings either directly or through the Coordinators, and ensure you are aware of artists progress you will ensure communication is flowing from the Supervisor to the Leads, crew or other departments.
