This role involves maintaining, calibrating, and repairing advanced medical equipment across various sites. Candidates should have professional registration as a Clinical Technologist or relevant experience in radiation and electronic equipment. Qualifications

  • Professional registration as a Clinical Technologist (Radiation Engineering).
  • Relevant experience working on radiation equipment and/or complex electronic equipment.
  • Mechanical engineering experience is an advantage.

Role Overview

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced engineer to work as a member of a team of Clinical Technologists to undertake repair, quality assurance, calibration and maintenance of sophisticated medical equipment. The post holder will also have responsibility for the management of staff and resources. They will be expected to work across all three Radiotherapy sites on a rotating basis.

Eligibility and Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
